Make sure you buy an light illuminator to go with it.
You see I decided to have a little play with it before I give it to my girl on Xmas day and was a little dissapointed to find that unless you are sat in really good lighting (and I guess depending on the game being played)the screen is really difficult to see and imo looks a little crappy for it. So I bought one of the illuminator kits like this:

I wasn't expecting that much for the price and thought it would be just 'OK' but no, it's really quite good and throws just the required amount of light onto the screen. It transforms the whole experience from a mediocre to an enjoyable one.
You really can see the screen quite well and makes playing a game less of a strain.
Go and buy one. It's only a tenner!
