When I get mail, It some times has Mr Crush Esq.

Now, I know what it stands for, but:

i) Isn't it a bit of a dated concept?
ii) Isn't it just another way of saying, You're an average Joe six pack?
iii) Does anybody as stuck up as me find it insulting?
iv) If I phoned everybody to tell them that I want it changed, will they just laugh and tell me to **** off?

[pedantic mode]

If they do it that way then it simply proves that they don't understand the use of Esq..

It should either be

Mr Muppet Crush

or

Muppet Crush Esq

but never.. ever....

Mr Muppet Crush Esq

bad form don't ya know

[/pedant mode]

The worst I've had is Mr R Squire Esquire

Dooh!!!

Do you have a degree? If so, you should never be 'Muppet Crush Esq.' but 'Muppet Crush BA' or whatever.

I have a BA with hons. from the uni of life
esq. means land owner, so only works for real if you own your own home, unlike Mr. M. Otway he can no longer be called Esquire
