Resolve is rubbish. Drink a bottle of Lucozade and some water, take some paracetamol and ibuprofen, and two travel sickness tablets to hold the nausea at bay. These are best taken before going to bed (if you can remember) and again when you wake up

I always have a glass of water and paracetamol before I go to bed and if that doesn't work I always make sure I have a glass bottle of Irn Bru, then make myself a nice fry up!

try it! It works

travel sickness pills sound like a good idea.

4 slices of toast with marmite later and I'm feeling marginally better....

it may be a bit embarassing to buy, but diaorreah (sp?) cures work really well as they rehydrate you quickly. Just be a bit careful if you had a curry the night before!

For me, it's two bottles of Lucozade Sport before I go to bed. Then another when I get up, along with a Twirl or something for a sugar hit.

The main cause of a headache in the morning after a night on the **** is dehydration, due to your kidneys working overtime after being stimulated by the alcohol you have consumed. That's why you need to pee so often after you've broken the seal.

If you have had a skinful, drink at least two pints of water before you go to sleep, if you can drink more do it. Also keep a large glass of water by your bed, if you wake up, have some water.

It is best advice I was ever given, if I can remember to drink the water, I never have a headache in the morning. I may still have dodgy guts but a bacon sarnie will sort that out pronto. Oh and if your prone to hurling your guts, do the same, drink some water if you think you are going to hurl, you don't get such a nasty taste of puke in the back of the throat.

Best hangover cure I ever had was steak & eggs for breakfast. One minute my head was pounding from a keep-drinking-until-there's-no-more-booze party the night before, the next I was fine.

I just have a chat with the toilet bowl for a little while, seems to sort it out.

Seriously though, before going to bed have a pint of water with 2 teaspoons of water and 2 teaspoons of salt stirred into it. Tastes disgusting, but if you feel that rough, its worth it. Always feel fine in the morning afterwards. Was told this by a clever mate (scientisty person) and he told me why it works, can't remember why now but it made sense.

Happy drinking

Try some N-acetylcysteine. Comes from health food shops marked NAC. It's the stuff in eggs that makes you feel better.

One of them, two neurophen and as much toast and water as you can eat (blood sugar + rehydration) before you go to bed.

If you are feeling dicky in the morning, beer replaces everything it takes, so a pint is a good cure (if you can face it)...

I find the hangover depends to a large degree on the preparation and drinking habits of the night too. Be well rested before the off, have a sly glass or two of water, and stick to clear spirits if you are going to go bonkers.

Happy drinking

My mate Rods has some 'Tripe'(cows stomach) to cure his hangover. Cook it for a few minutes and wash it down with some Dr Pepper.

Otherwise get some Rock Cod from the local chippie and a Pickled Gherkin.

another one : Femet-Branca.
A mate (non-Italian) swears by it. That and a glass of coffee is meant to work a dream.

Read somewhere that rubbing a lime cut in half on iddle of your forehead is meant to help for some reason ! Never tried it, sounds a bit daft.

Preventative is always better than corrective in my experience. Loads of water before hitting the sack usually helps.

Fernet Branca!!!! Phew! Only for the hardcore - Italian Digestivo! Also Branca Menta!!! These do NOT taste good!
I would recommend a tablet of Losec before you go on the lash - it's an H+ antagonist - stops acid production in the stomach - the Medical profession swear by it!!!!

I find that tonic water is really good, it A: re-hydrates you, B: has sugar in it, C: makes you burp(which helps with the tummy problems) and D: tastes re-assuringly like its sorting you out in a strange way.

If you really feel ****e I recomend resolve extra in a glass of tonic water, that is a winner.
