When opening a thread i get 2 or 3 replies and thats it, no post reply at the bottom etc.i've been to other sites and most are incomplete,just headings and bits here and there.anyone know whats up.

This maybe a wrong call, but it seems obvious that you are not downloading the whole web page. If you are running a modem through a service provider it is possible that either your web provider or your modem are timing out. Try a different service provider first and if that dont work borrow a mates modem to see if it is that. If you can give me anymore symptoms an possibly the OS/Web Viewer that you are using, I may be able to help further.

Also has this problem just started or has it always been like this on all sites you visit?

The problem seems intermitent as all seems well at the moment but this problem occurs a few times a week and has been going on for months now.

I am using win 98, explorer 5,the very first edition and connecting through ntl world.I will load my lineone cd in and the next time i get probs will try line one and see what happens.

I had problems with the modem after a mega crash,have since updated drivers but sometimes when i'm online i go to a site,blank scene on monitor appears but nothing happens,modem is still connected but on my internet monitor software there is absolutely no download action and when a download occurs i never get more than 4.00 KBps .
