Here's something to try Greg.
I'm running IE 5.5 (should be the same for IE 5.x, but not sure about IE 4.x).
Inside an Internet Explorer window, click
Tools >> Internet Options
Choose the Programs Tab (if present).
What does it list for your HTML Editor?
Let me know if this does / doesn't work.
Cheers,
Chris.

OK Folks here’s the problem.
When I used to right click on a web page and select `View Source` then Note Pad would open up and display the HTML. Handy for editing and experimenting. Now for some strange reason when I try to view the source nothing happens. No Note Pad or nowt. Any ideas how to get it working again??
Thanks Greg.

Chris.
I am using IE 5.
I checked out the options and set the editor to Note Pad.
Still cant get it to fire up though.
When off line however some times the Edit Icon is no longer greyed out and I can edit from there, but note pad removes all the formatting and it`s very hard to look through it.
Can I change the editor to Word Pad?
Also tried a repair from the system/add remove programs/repair but that never helped.
Just to make thing worse, I have my website held on my hard drive. If I look at the pages with IE5 I can view the sourse no problem, but when I look at the site on the server, I cant….
May just try and install it again over the top, but I am scared incase I loose all my book marks.
If you have a free minute can you have a lok at

Hey Greg - no problem.
It's what Scoobynet's all about .
I can help people with PC questions, but ask questions on stuff I don't understand as well as some of the other guys on here (like engines).
Cheers,
Chris.
