Question

Can anyone recommend one? Going to fit a new kitchen and bathroom in my flat over the winter. Nothing too flash as I'll be selling it with a year or so.

B & Q seem to do some fairly respectable stuff now - but I can't help thinking that there must be a cheaper place to buy from

We have just spent nearly £3k on our kitchen we had it designed by the man from from B&Q and the quality is bloody good to boot as well, I think for the money and quality you can,t beat it

I'm in the process of installing a new B+Q kitchen atm.For the price its hard to beat,...and the quality seems pretty good too.

Btw,i dont bother with designers, just rip the old one out and bung the new one in....

Stupid as it sounds, MFI do a decent re-design service free of charge. Just turn up with your measurements and hopefully you'll get someone clued up to design your new kitchen.

Then buy it from somewhere else.

We bought from Ikea. Seems very good quality, but the wall fixings aren't as easy to adjust as MFI's. (I've fitted both)

For bathrooms, we bought ex demo for less than half price...

IMO Wickes kitchens are alot better for the money. They will come out to your house and do a free no obligation design and quote. IMO these kitchens are really good value for money.

Should really say "ex display" bathroom, shouldn't I? Not sure I'd want to be playing with an ex-demo toilet...
