Warm coke (not diet!) apparently . My step-dad's cure (something complicated to do with acids etc....) I didn't understand why, although admittedly I wasn't in a fit state to listen at the time I used coke, but he said it would work with any fizzy drink...certainly worked for me and I've done it everytime i've been sick afterwards, makes you feel alot better
Hope you feel better soon

Yeah, get a bottle of coke and put sugar in it to make it flat. Thats supposed to work wonders. I also found boiled potatos good. If you can get to the chemists the Rehydrat is brilliant (also works well on hangovers) Hope you feel better soon

As said, flat coke is the dogs. You can speed up the flattening process by stirring it for a minute or two. Kills *everything* in your guts so you can start fresh.
I've used & recommended it for years for any stomach ailments, works every time.

When you're ready to start eating, digestive biscuits is the first important step. Normally works well with a milky cup of tea
Then, dry toast and scrambled egg.
All this ex-fizzy drink stuff has never worked with me.

I can highly recommend PEACH+ and PLUM+ bars (natural fruit bars).
You can get them in Sainsburys and a lot of other supermarkets.
They are very high in carbohydrates and ideal for energy replenishment, also they are not very big so not too frightening if you don't feel like eating.
I use them all the time for keeping my carbs high on long distance cross country mountainbiking (circ 30-40 miles) and they are the biz.
There are also a number of carb packs that come in gels but they don't taste as good and might make you feel even worse :-)
Get well soon.

Try 'Dioralite' from your local chemist, replaces all the minerals and salts lost during the 'purging' spells.
Quite literally saved my life a couple of years ago after a brief fling with some French shellfish.
Get well soon.

Drink a 40 oz bottle of whisky. The alcohol will kill the bacteria causing the problem and by the time your hangover is gone you should be completely recovered. (Disclaimer - this could take a few days.... if you don't die first)
Alternatively - anything with kaolin in it. You know that vile white stuff. Neutralises everything. Kaobiotic works a treat, but they stopped making it a couple of years ago. Chemist near me has a stockpile, so you could ask around
