I went out to try some Xmas shopping today, it just not happening guys, I need an alternative!
I had the car to tax aswell so I went to the post office, I was mildly annoyed by the time I got there, really annoyed when I found it to be shut Then I wandered up to Woolies, this is when the rage really set in! I can't be doing with...well, people, they do mi head in! They walk into you, block entire streets up, poke you're eyes out with brollies...ARGH!!!!!!
Anyhoo, mi sister wants CD's for Xmas so I've just been to cd-wow and got her FOO Fighters - one by one, £8.99 and free delivery, fantastic
Anywhere else good for gifts, haven't a clue what to buy for anyone btw

Tell me about it. Everyone is sorted apart from Mr Foxy. Not only does he need a xmas present, his birthday is on 26th December, so I've got 2 nice pressies to get! I'm budgetting £30 per present, so I have been thinking about getting him a small remote control scooby for one. If I don't find anythign online for the other, I'm going to get some toys from early learning for him.

Totally agree with the crowds too! Everybody just seems to be walking around like zombies, pushing & shoving
I think instead of everybody giving & receiving presents, we should all go out & plant a tree

Alfie, turn up naked with beer, he'll love itD
Crush, I always used to leave my shopping till Xmas eve, it's quite good actually, you just have to put your "I'm a mentalist shopper" head on and get on with it, knowing you have no other option! I figure ordering over the internet gives me more time, I can pull the old "it's in the post"
FP, I know what you mean, I don't really give a rat's *** about getting presents, folk only do it cos they feel obliged, if they were that keen to give gifts they give em all year round

From experience, I find that half naked (a tiny skirt is essential you see) and carrying chocolate works best.
However, I had a look on IWOOT and I'm getting him a mini racer (the tiny 3cm remote cars!), a bath fizz bomb (he likes wallowing in baths), an engraved st christopher and a Sims extention pack. Oh and some chocolate & an IOU 1 skirt session...

Bob,
Did all my Xmas shopping online in just under 20 minutes. That includes pressies for six people plus someones birthday.
It equates to zero stress.
A few big boxes arrived the other day from the usual suspects (Amazon for CDs, books etc, Boots for womans pressies etc. etc.)
Jobs a good 'un.
Cheers

I have the same problem.... normally I make several aborted attempts to buy presents and then end up buying crap on the 24th dec. I have lost count of the number of times I have had an unrelenting urge to get out and put down the shopping basket in the middle of the shop and walked out!
My advise is to try and plan exactly what you want to get, and where you are going to get it from, also have 2 back up items in mind. Then get in and out in the minimum time!
I also regularly tell everyone that I prefer to receive nothing and give nothing but they don't seem to take the hint.... perhaps they see the gift as a symbol of the amount of misery I am willing to go through for them...
