Cool

You can buy something especially for removing chewing gum but I can't remember where I saw it, it may have been in the Betterware catalogue so I'll try and dig it out. If you find some in the meantime please let me know as I've got chewing gum stuck to one of my tops which was my own fault for collapsing in bed extremely drunk and fully clothed with chewing gum in my mouth

Sal

From the old wives tale stain removal site

Hold ice on the the gum to harden it.
Crack or scrape off what you can using the dull side of a butter knife.
Spray with an aerosol pre-treatment product, and let stand for five minutes.
Rub with heavy duty liquid detergent. Launder.

Repeat if necessary

Cheers Ro.

I put the trousers in the freezer and tried to scrape the gum off this morning, but it was still a little soft and i couldnt get it all off.

I will try what has been suggested.

Your freezer probably wasn't cold enough. Try a can of freezer spray from any electonics components supplier. That will freeze it to -40C.
