saw a snippet of one of the many childrens tv progs on saturday i think it was CD:UK?

jeez, can the producers/presenters offer any more in the way of sexual connotations to young viewers? a girl was on there (13?) and a boy band served her breakfast in bed - then to finish this weakly scripted scene, a couple of them suggestively climbed into the god damn bed with her!!!!!
WTF - i ain't a prude and i don't have kids, but this was just beyond the pale and the tip of the iceberg from what i can see.
how do you guys and gals with nippers feel about this?

what is the world coming to?

Terrible isn't it. How are they going to learn proper punctuation watching that stuff?

Wonder how many children watching actually caught the same connotation that you did, or whether they just watched it in innocent minds...

Adults know a lot more than the majority of children and to put adult connotations onto things that children don't even see is where the problem lies...

perhaps i have not been in the adult world long enough to appreciate what you say.

however a couple of other (older) people with kids i have discussed this with agree that the blatentcy seems more apparent now.

am i turning into my parents - arrgghh!

Cool

Mmm. So, young, nubile Kids' TV presenters were getting into bed with each other?

What time and channel was this?

don't get MarkO started, you'll never stop him!

As for which channel, tell me, puuurrrrlllleeeeaaasseeee!

Mice does have a valid point there, however, some (not all) 13 yr olds may well have been thinking the same as us. I've been shocked by some of the things 13 yr olds know/have experienced I dunno, was different when I was a kid!
