Selling my Corrado, had a couple of companies offering to match buyers to my car etc. for £60 or so.
Is this a scam? Anyone tried them?

One call this morning saying they had 5 buyers within a mile radius. This is b*ll*cks as where I live(out in the sticks), I very much doubt there are 5 car hunters in the mile radius let alone ones looking for a Corrado Vr6!

Your thoughts appreciated.

DO NOT DO IT!!!
I know its wrong to assume that all these companies are a fraud but I have only ever heard bad reports about these people.

Only my personal opinion of course but I would suggest you use the normal Auto Trader, Top Marques, local paper etc.

Corrado is a pretty saleable car I guess so you shouldnt need to shell out £60.

I agree! may not be a scam but the car should sell itself anyway (I really should put it in the for sale section ! )

'tis already in autotrader - that's how they get your number.

not going to go along with them but am curious to whether anyone has used them.

Scam - don't do it, they don't have any "buyers lined up". I fell for this once like a chump when I was desperate to sell my Mondeo v6.
Try asking them how many buyers they have lined up....

My car is in Autotrader at the mo, and I forgot to put the usual "Telesales will be insulted" at the bottom, so have been getting lots of sh1te calls.
"Can I speak to the person selling the Honda?"
"Err..... NO .Click"

Fortunately got a keen buyer coming this weekend - Z M Coupe here we come

DO NOT DO IT.

I know many people who have paid the money and never got any buyers. If it is C**data then they used to work from my home town but they soon shifted so it looks like they move all the time so people cannot get to them.

VERY SHIFTY IF YOU ASK ME.

DON'T DO IT.

I stupidly paid it a few years ago to buy a car. I got jack$hit response.

Suffice to say I shall never do it again.

Damian.
