Had my court appearance today for speeding 58mph in a 30mph, not proud of it but i escaped with 5 points and £350 fine.

During the course of the hearing i discovered some new info which may or may not be of interest to you all.

I was under the illusion that i had only 3 points remaining on my license since 3 had come off in July this year. Apparently even though they have technically become spent, because my offence was committed in March this year they were still valid for the trial today. Hence 5 was the most they could give me without banning me.

My face must have been a picture when they told me i was already on six points i thought for sure I was a gonna. Still the barrister came through and I was granted a second life. Can't so much as fart in the wrong direction now mind but life goes on.

So if you pass a WR blue wagon sticking to the speed limit around Nottingham, you will have found me.

Ali

PS I used Pryce Woodrow for my legal team if anyone else finds themselves in need of a good defence

You should have been banned!!!!

Speeding is illegal, and i cant condone that immature behavior in the slightest!!!

welcome to the 30mph club!!

I've wedged a large block of wood under the accelerator to assist me with driving at the speed limit.

BB Does the 30mph club have a website??

Why the toyota at the moment, probably a good method of keeping your speed down me thinks...
