Question

Has anyone had any problems using a dual LNB (single LNB with two connections on it) on a 5ky sat dish?

I've had 3 different ones since it was upgraded 3 weeks ago and none of them work (i.e. "no sat signal" intermittently, well nearly all the time actually, on sparodic channels on both digiboxes joined to the dish).

The 5ky engineer has been to have ANOTHER look, and he has suggested that a QUAD LNB should fix the prob.

I just get the feeling the dual LNBs don't work and they should give us two dishes perhaps.

Anyone got any suggestions or experienced similar probs?

P.S - carl - I saw your other reply - thanx.

I have a quad LNB (with SKY+) and this works fine, The enginner I used said most systems that need more than one feed use the quad LNB.

How many of the four feeds are actually in use on your LNB?
