I didnt get caught out this year but was still up early as I heard my fencing panels crashing about and it felt like the roof was going to go at one time...I know what I'll be doing for the rest of the day now

Hello

Yes, and someone was coming to view my house at 09:30. I was incredibly annoyed when they turned up at 10:30.

Luckily the first thing they said was "Hi, hope you coped with putting the clocks back".

Ah... did I feel stupid!

Steve.

yep, add me to the doofus list - totally forgot about the clocks thing!

The flipside is, that I was meant to be in work an hour late anyway, so it made little difference in the end, I just get a kind-of leave work early feeling ...

Me 2. Was coming into work for 7.45 as per normal with Scoob_dood until we got to the work car park and the guy on the radio asked if everyone enjoyed their lie ins - GUTTED. Anyways we get to leave an hour earlier than normal so no harm done.

Heh heh. My bedside clock sets itself using radio data, and the video auto-adjusts from teletext.

Only problem is that my old car ICE had a clock which auto-set via RDS, but no longer.

Red face

I had a problem with this clock thing as well. You see, someone put back my mobile and didn't tell me....so....I get ready to go to bed last night and put it back another hour. Guess who had to exceed the speed limit a little this morning to get to work on time

A couple of years back used to play footie every sunday morning
and used to get a lift from a mate.
I phoned him an hour too early asking him where the hell he had got to and felt a right tit when he told me.
I thought i would never here the end of it and i could already here the jokes in my head "bit early with that tackle werent you" etc etc
Only thing was he didnt tell anyone so i kept quiet as well and eventually forgot all about it till several months later when my mate tells me the resaon he had kept quite was that he had an argument with the misses the previous night and had insisted the clock went back not forward.
So he had already been up an hour before me.

on reflection i thought he had picked up the phone very quickly for a man i was supposed to be waking from his rest!!!
