advice on t-mobile
#4
the g/f was having problems with network congestion in London, which I think affects both Orange & T-Mobile, but also she has a long running problem with her phone not working for hours on end
She though it was the handset initially, but borrowed another one and had the same problem - basically she couldn't access her voicemail, and couldn't recieve incoming calls (which also didn't connect to her voicemail)
Upon phoning t-mobile, they asked her to recieve 5 test calls 30 minutes apart .... so they could diagnose the problem.
They also accidentally deleted roaming from her account, so she had to make a lengthy call to them from a phonebox in Jersey!
I'm not sure there are any decent customer service aspects for the UK's mobile phone providers, the best experience I ever had was with Cellnet, as a member of their "Select" service, which I joined for free after clocking up a couple of expensive bills - one phone number to ring for service, answered within 3 rings by a human - unheard of
