Anyone heard of/used these guys for EU imports? Their site looks very professional and the prices (on a Volvo XC90..zips up flame suit quickly!) look very keen..

I heard that they should be avoided at all costs.

You've heard about my wife and kids then?

Seriously, do you mean Micronet Showroom or the XC90?? Have you heard of people who've had bad experiences with this outfit? I would rather go direct to a Volvo dealer on the continent to be honest, but don't have any contact info as yet.

AIUI, Micronet Showroom are not registered as a limited company. Also AIUI the reason for this is that one of their proprietors is on the Companies House list of disqualified directors.

http://www.truro.swinternet.co.uk/ has a list of dealers for each manufacturer. It's not wonderfully up-to-date, but I did find three Pug dealers for wifey's 206CC through it (although it hasn't turned up yet )

Thanks Carl. The site you sent has a few Volvo dealers on it so I'll give them a try direct.

LOL wife and kids!

I believe a few people on this board have had *issues* with them inparticular with prices quoted vs price when it comes to deliver, also delivery times etc.

If you search through the import threads about May time I am sure you will find loads of info.

If you are after an import I would try Litchfieldshttp://www.litimports.co.uk/

Thanks for that link allbob -- the proprietors' names are Richard and David Loach.

Both disqualified from 28/02/2000 until 06/02/2013. David under section 6 (unfit directors of insolvent companies), Richard under section 8 (disqualification after investigation of company).

All this stuff is available at the Companies House website
