WAS a 1955 86" series 1
sold about a month or two ago to the bloke who owned the landy in the last pic. needs a bit of work now.
this is the last pic I have of her.
Gotta get another, got to be another V6, I lurve that sound and was faster than said blokeys V8
She was due for a new engine so I thought I would stick some old road tyres on her and have some fun killing the old engine and the tyres
Edit to say I never got round to the re-build and she sat in our orchard for about 2 years before being dragged out and sold, very sad day to see it go actually, so much fun

I have a 1969 Series IIA with 3500cc V8 engine.
Bought in 1997, off roaded twice, decided on a rebuild and am still rebuilding, although now is is a drivable rebuild.
I have a good picture taken recently, after I helped tow some ***** who got stuck on Wimbledon Common - while parking!
Can someone upload the picture if I send it to them?
Cheers,
Alan

Loads of my mates are into Lanies, best time i can remember off-roading was when we drove down a 3ft deep stream, which got so narrow and rough that i had to sit on the bonnet to make sure we could get threw and not sink it a rut. Bloody glad the thing never stalled as it took 2 weeks for the starter to dry out and even on the road it was no fun bump-starting the bloody thing!
