it wont send text... recieves fine, and the messaging center number is correct... just says message not sent this time

yep... have sent it messages from my other phone so i know it works... it just refuses point blank to send messages to ANY number.. even vodafones test number!

Have you rung Vodafone to check that their network is ok?

Have you rung Siemens for advice?

Have you EVER managed to send texts from this phone?

have never had any probs before.. have sent mail to vodafone.. they have not replied... i asked friend on same network and she got no probs...

nope... it wont work in my nokia though tried that b4....


but if it recieving txt and making calls etc with no prob... ???

Hmmm....seems that there is a block / fault on the network or an issue with your SIM card / account...

Can you manually select to another Service Provider?

Instead of sending Vodafone a mail - ring them up and ask them to check your account and signal where you are.

To be honest, I wouldn't put the fault on the phone hardware as it can receive and call with no issues...
