Anyone know of a good plastic polish?

I've put a long (but not too deep) scratch in the display of my new phone. Tried the normal tricks - toothpaste, Jif - too rub it out without much success. Any other suggestions much appreciated.

Take it to a friendly jewlers - they will have a good acrylic cutting polish that will do the job in seconds 
Alternatively try Autoglym cutting polish - worked great on my last watch face for taking scratches out - it was acrylic.
