Just seen a crazy car crash....

You are never going to beleive this.
Our office is bang opposite a multistory carpark in Croydinge.
I hear an almighty crunch, run to the window and there is a car parked on top of another
It appears that said car was on it's way down the carpark. Rather than taking the next down ramp, as is normal, the driver mistook a parking space for the down ramp, drove straight through the space, straight through the crash barrier and onto a car below. Talk about brightening up the afternoon. LOL

Me thinks there might have been a certain amount of panic going on, leading to a driver who has their foot planted on the accelerator hoping the car would stop.
My mum was following a car at 35mph once that swerved off the road, up onto a pavement, up an embankment, through a fence, across about 100 yards of field before finally stopping in against someone's garden wall. The driver had just frozen when things started to go wrong, and kept her foot planted on the accelerator.
