Living for the weekend?
#1
Anyone else find they live for the weekend?(more than ever)
I didnt used to as such(but like anyone I love them), but now with work being so rubbish(Im not redundant but may as well be - so am pretty down and searching for work) I find if my weekends arent looking good I have nothing to look forward to and the week drags soooo bad.
Thank goodness for scoobynet and the things Ive been able to get involved with through it, think I would have gone totally insane otherwise.
Power Engineering rolling road this weekend - woo hoo!

I don't live for the weekend. I love my job.
Let's be honest - getting paid a large wad for emailing, surfing, instant messaging and arguing on SN about whether Hear'say are crap or not.
TBH, I find the weekends drag, actually.

Currently working 200miles away from home and therefore living for the weekends when I can travel home to see the family...
Do feel like I am wishing my time away, but hopefully something else will come up this side of Xmas and before my wife has out second baby..
Smile it could be worse you could be on the dole (sorry job seekers allowance) and down the pub all day or buying a new TV..

My job sounds like MarkO's!!!
I get paid to manage a IT dept full of excellent staff!, it couldnt easier, they all get on with it and I get the pat on the back!. All I do all day is surf, email and getinto discussions about dogs taking date rape drugs on Scoobynet!!
Boring at times but I really cant complain!!
Hope none of them are reading this.........

Depends what you do. If you're a decent C++ programmer with some knowledge of finance, who can give the impression of being productive whilst surfing the web, there'll be a vacancy in a couple of months' time.
