It looks like a rover 213. I had one when i 1st started driving, they were the days, good for building NCD.

I did however have the common sense not to do that to it!

If only I had brought my camera to a recent modified car show here, you would have seen something funny. Most of the cars inside were ok ( most, not all ), but in the car park OMG!!! We must have walked past some cars 10 times, and still couldnt hold in the laughter. It may be unfair to laugh, but WTF ??? The best one was metro ( rover metro ), purple, paint runs everywhere in varying shades. Blacked out windows, Cool ( not ) white alloys 13", Lovely motorsport seats ( covers actually ) Huge sunstrip at top of windscreen, and rear screen ( matching purple ) Huge bonnet bulge ( closest match I can think of is a GTiR, although it was combined with something else )
There were other mods, but these were the funniest. Some people have no idea, really.
We did wait til the owner came back, but dont think he was amused by us rolling around laughing at him, as he and his friends did seem to think the car was cool??? But then, they also seemed to be Thiev**g G*PSY F**kers, or members of the travelling community, whichever you prefer
