Just been to both in the last month. In the past I would have said Thorpe Park but now I'm more inclined to say Chessington. Thorpe Park seemed much smaller to me but had so great rides, although going quite adult orientated such as Collosus, Detonator etc and a Nemesis Inferno ride opening next year.
Cheesington has much more rides aimed at everybody and also the animal and Zoo-ish part which is cool too!!!
Both good, I prefer Thorpe but I think Chessington has the edge for kiddies
