be aware (if you want it as a hobby) that it is VERY weather dependant. ie. you may find only a few days a year overlap with your times you want to do it.

Yeah, I learned 3 years ago, not been again since.. It is very weather dependant and rather expensive (oh sorry, we run scoobs - price shouldn't matter)..

Its top mate, I fell in love with flying.. Do look down.. its top being 1500ft above a town and seeing your feet then only the town below.. Wear protective clothing / padding on the front of your shoulders - I had really bad bruising for about 3 weeks (I learned in a week in the Alps).. erm, thats about it really, just go and enjoy..

Let us know how you get on...

Well it'll almost certainly be too strong next time.
We have a good guy, Mark Dann/Beyond Extreme, at the Mynd here in Shropshire and he has a local school for local people.

Hi Evo kid.
Who you taking a lesson with? My dad trained with Rob (can't remember his surname - he was in the Army I know that much) in the Conwy area. Now he flies around the Clwydians mostly.
Good luck with it
