Question

Yup, its an oxymoron but with the old currently unemployed status bit, wishing to transfer some money that is getting interest applied to it, to a credit card or somesuch that has a 0% transfer balance for the first few months - the longer the better JIC

Part of the drive to reduce monthly outgoings ATM

Ta!

Eggcard - 6 months at 0% and they tend to give favourable credit limits i.e. 4k to start with.

I know people who have Egg cards, and are appalled by the poor service from them.

Smile are good people to work with. I've never had any trouble with them.

American Express Blue, 4.8% APR on balance transfers - for the life of the balance. Can keep topping up with up to 12(?) transfers per year.

Had an egg card for 8 months now. Service has been fine - you do it all online anyway so unless you **** something up its fine.

No way can you get £700 worth of Tesco points by buying a Galaxy. You get 1% in points for anything you buy which would make the Galaxy about £70,000. Maybe it had a lot of extras?

Are any of these both 0% on balance transfers AND new purchases, for a decent introductory period,ie 6 months.

Thanks
Paul.

Have a look at marbles,
0% on transfers AND spending for six months
Have a look on Motley Fool
and check out their credit card page.

Egg also looks good

Cheers
