Man United give him a call, and offer to sign him up.
He says to his Dad, "Dad, when you were a footballer
you used to have number 7 on your shirt.
What number should I have?

Actually, I found this one pretty funny. The first time.
It wasn't so bad on the 2nd time.
The 3rd time it was beginning to wear thin.
And every other time since then that it's been posted to SN I have to admit it's not made me laugh at all.
