Kiss still has it's moments.
Friday nights are great after 11.00pm
First Radio Soulwax with a class eclectic mix, followed at midnight by two hours of Digweed and guest (usually class ) and then Tao (don't know the spelling but pronounced "Tie Oh") - the dread at the controls - an' all that. Then from 4.00am that Mongo stuff which is just mad - oh and almost NO ADVERTS - phew!!
The rest is cr@p tho'

Well then, following on from the chris moyles thread, what stations do you guys listen too?
Me, number one has to be the 'Bam Bam' Breakfast show on Kiss 100. I think this has to be the best entertainment in the morning ever!
Was well into Chris Evans on Radio 1, but never listen to that lot any more!

I listen to Radio 1, but seeing as I am only in the car for about 20 minutes a day, I get a little bit of Sarah *** and a slightly larger portion of Chris Moyles.
Chris Moyles is great and has me in stitches on occasion.

Kiss 100 is an insult. They used to be a dance music station but now they are basically a washed down pop station that plays a fre dance tunes.
Bring back the days of Steve Jackson, Rodigan in the afternoon and the Max LX and Dave VJ rap show.

I used to listen to Kiss when it first came out - about 1992 or summat?? Moved to Bradford for uni, and missed it alot!
Dave Pearce started there didn't he? And a few other Radio 1 regulars I bet. It was very dance orientated. Is it like Capital now?

Yep have to agree BRING BACK STEVE JACKSON! He is the one that introduced Street Boy not bloody toss pot Bam Bam!
How can Kiss classify Holly Valence as dance music??
CapitalFM are a joke when it comes to black music. Anytime they play an R&B/Hip Hop (commercial), the DJ suddenly starts "talking the talk and walking the walk".....idiots.
Radio 1 are at least covering new and old artists.

I used to listen to Radio 1, but I hate, hate, hate, hate Sara *** (by name and nature) with a passion Chris Moyles used to crack me up, and still does on occasion.
For the past year my commute has changed from being less than a song, to anywhere between 45mins and 1hr50. Seeing as I can't stand Sara ***, and hate commercial radio (thanks honey for waking me up in the morning with Capital Sh!te ) I had to find an alternative.
5 Live rules! (Most of the time!) The breakfast show and drive are great, but Nicky Campbell, well, sometimes I even consider putting up with Coxy! That's when you thank God for autochangers!

Used to listen to GLR (BBC London) when it was good in the Old Days, and I still try to catch Robert Elms but I'm not usually in the car since they moved his slot from morning to 12-3pm. Breakfast radio is a struggle for me:
Sara *** - ****e
XFM - Christian is funny but the music and adverts wind me up
Today Programme (R4) - ok but gets boring after half an hour
Sarah Kennedy on R2 - ****e music and she sounds like Tara PT's aunt
Wogan on R2 - surprisingly I find him quite funny. it took me a while to get into the concept of listening to wogan, and a show targeted at over 60s, but i kinda got to like it.
in the afternoons I usually give Moyles a spin... he can be funny but can be a pr!ck as well. Johnny Walker can be ok. Steve Wright is waaaay past it.
I'm with the test matches on R4 LW as well. That is real quality radio. At the weekend tests at home I have TMS on and the TV with no sound.
Also any radio that has comentary on Spurs away games (I'm usually at the home ones)
Happy listening...
Charlie.

innit! couldnt agree more with this one. I stopped listening when they started playing hear'say Admittedly BamBam and street are very funny but steve jackson and street were in a different league. and back then they played proper tunes. Where else could you hear Valley of the Shadows boadcast over london on a wet monday morning?
Its all the fault of EMAP who bought the station back in the late 90s. Thats why Gordon Mac. The station founder left cos he didnt agree with the station going commercial to make more money.
Nowadays I cant even listen to pirates cos their all playing wall to wall garage.
Remember the days of Dream FM, Don FM and Redeye? *goes misty eyed*
those were proper pirates....
astraboy.

Steve Jackson was the daddy
Aaaah, remember the days of Kiss FM in the early 90's. Still got a few tapes from back then, classic stuff
The pirates were the best though, Cundicut, Kool FM

I must be showing my age!
Southern FM on the way to work
Radio 2 if I am out of the office during the day
Radio 4 on the way home.
I don't like changing stations hence Radio 2 whilst out, Radio does all the work!
My pet hate is when someone changes the station every other track, or because a track comes on that they don't like!
