I am having it installed on Friday and I get the impression (from the info I have received from Sky) that I just have to tell the installer where I want the dish and where the STB is going! The installer will set the channels up etc, etc.

OK, once you've got the minidish & STB installed, what do you do with the viewing card (other than sticking it in the STB)??

Do you need to add the contract channels or setup the STB in some way?

Spot on RiMo. Sit back and relax for 40 mins, and you will have hundreds of channels at your fingertips. The gadge will set everything up for you.

Thanks guys, it's all sorted now.

We thought we didn't have the view card, so the Engineer couldn't set-up all the channels for us at the time.

Turns out the card came in the 2nd post (after he left), so I stuck in the card when I got home and waited the 20mins or so for the card to get activated.

Turns out, it doesn't get activated automatically (as per instructions), so had to phone Sky to get this done.

5mins later and hey presto, all channels are available.
