Driven - Avon park drag strip, Barracuda (dodge?) 184mph...scared poo poo less
EDIT :-Got the present scoob to 145mph, not on a motorway either
was a slight rise in the road. smooth and felt stable.....and dare I say it "safe"

On my own private road, the M45 - 150 miles an hour as a passenger, ********'s Scoob - about 150 mph at the Ring, and as a driver, 130 on another private road in my Ford Probe!
That car was underrated man!

Cruising very nicely on a motorway in France at 155mph - no effort what so ever for my UK spec scoob - (Moutier to Calais in 7 1/2 hours and we stopped for lunch) - never had the opportunity to push the WRX - never mind.
P
and I cornered as well

My scoob. MY97 UK. Extremely lower powered compared to everyone one this site
150 indicated, on the A27. No traffic so was fine.
130 was one hell of a lot scarier when I was proving to an M3 BMW that i could keep up (just though), it was absolutely hacking it down with rain, and he had to brake to go round bends, which was just as well cos I could only see him when his brakes lights lit up. Cacked me pants when a guy pulled out in front of him, i'd just hit the limiter in 4th and changed up when BRAKE LIGHTS, BMW getting close quick. He shot across 3 lanes and I out accelerated him, at least for a short while
erm, erm, and then I woke up officer.

Everyones hit some crazy speeds some point in their life!
(obviously on a runway :P)
But whats the fastest you have been that you can recall and in what car?
165mph
Porsche 911 Turbo - Passenger
I'm not going to say where, if i recall correctly i think it was a race track

An indicated 150 is what I didn't see on the clock of a BMW M3, and certainly wouldn't have done on the M4. No siree, Mr Judge, your honour.
And I defo wouldn't go on to add that it felt scarier that and indicated 166 that I didn't do on my bike (again, the M4 wouldn't have been the place then, either).

But fastest it's ever felt was at about 70mph down a welsh country lane when the steering wheel came off about 20 years ago= one more dead escort

160 and still pulling at brunters a few yaears back. the backend was fishtailing a bit so I lifted. Might try it again as I've got new susp. bushes now and thats meant to cure 3-door high speed instability.

Not to sat that ive been in it but my boss runs in the pro modified championship at santa pod and was on that programme with that davina mCcall(whatever her name is)
his car is capable of taking passengers and next year he will be offereing rides at the pod when available.Lets run this past you,
11-litre V8,nitrous oxide,2250bhp.
0-60 in about 0.8
0-100 in about 1.6
quater mile is 6.6 at 207mph
(fastest passenger run is 7.01@201mph,with his daughter in the car)
The car does hold the record(in the UK)for the fastest pasenger ride vehicle.

As a passenger indicated 186mph in a 911 Turbo around the 3 mile banked bowl at Millbrook.
As a driver indicated 155mph in STi7, same as everyone else on a private road somewhere in Warwickshire.
Also got nicked & done recently for an average of 110mph over 9 miles on the M6.

An indicated 205mph in the RUF CTR Yellowbird driven by Stefan Roser (RUF Factory driver). More than likely 190+ in real money.
Now that was a quick motor, but a bit Yellow ;-)
