i must admit there are some good chases and car stunts, but the plot and acting is dire.
if you want a decent car film get taxi or taxi2- french with subtitles - one of my all time favs.

You thought Taxi was good???? Even the car scenes were crap and were obviously sped up. F&TF must utterly dire in that case...

I watched the first 5 mins of TF&TF and was put off the rest of the film.
You have a big 18 wheeler truck surrounded by Honda Civics. Now an 18 wheeler, even flat out is going to be doing, what 70mph? So it's rolling along followed by a few Trevor'd out cars, that apparently have 100-speed gear boxes and powerbands no more than a couple of hundred rpm, and need to change gear every 2 seconds just to maintain 70mph.

i recommend Bullit with Steve McQueen if u want good car chases with a throbbing V8 soundtrack
