Question

Anyone know what was the problem on the M20 this morning?

It was shut from junction 6 to 4.. thankfully I was on the bike so just had to filter through stationary traffic and take a detour..

So why did you tell me the other day that you don't venture "down here" ?

If you were near J4-6 then you were about 15mins from my house

I am confused... ?

I am working in Derby in the week and travel up from Kent on a monday morning... and return on a Friday evening?! hence the M20 being closed was a pain in the butt..

Either muddled place or person perhaps?

So did you not see what the problem was? not that close I am sure to the motorway..... but you might know.

Well there is Jolly Green Monster, but that is me as well!!

I started the JGM2 name in January when I came up to Derby (forgot me password and was not going to wait a week before I could post on here).

You weren't on the M2 were you? Green 5door...

The M20 was closed last Saturday, at about 1:30pm. Don't know about today though.

If you were at J6, you were about 15-20 minutes from my house, too. Come and view it if you like (it's for sale!)

It was closed because of a jack-knifed lorry.

Unhappy

Apparently a lorry jack knifed shedding its load of tyres at 2am Monday morning and it took until 12 midday to get one lane open..
Fully reopen about 3pm...

Had I had realised I would have offered to help with the clear up, for a set of scooby tyres of course..

Went past a turned over lorry this morning too... took a round about too quick.. and another last week that shed it's load which was steel beams.. how no one was hit by them was pure luck.

But of course it is obviously us speeding motorists that are the safety risk..
