Question

I'm after a new widescreen telly and I have a couple of options:

Beko 28" Widescreen - £250-ish (2 Scarts - S-Video/RGB)
JVC 28" Widescreen - £400-ish (3 Scarts - S-Video/RGB)

What I need:

28" Widescreen (minimum)
50Hz
NTSC
2 Scarts & 1 S-Video or 3 Scart (RGB & S-Video compatiable)
NICAM only

Budget up to £450. (Ex-Demos considered)

Can anyone recommend a cheap supplier online or a shop in the South East?

Cheers
Andy

You ever considered renting? I get a 32" widescreen Sony Wega with digital, and a Sony nicam video, all for £46/month. And the advantage is that I can change to a different telly as often as I like - which is likely to be handy, until the digital technology etc settles down.

Better still, get a price off the empiredirect website and then go to Allders. If they stock the TV you want, they will match the price on your print out and you get it from somewhere local and not over the web.
