Redundancy looms me thinks as the company just scr3wed me [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img] so the union isnt too happy as this isnt the first time [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img] so on the lookout for a new job in telecomms

I'm in Telecomms down in the south east - its a bit grim Work is as dryed up as a very dry thing in a drought Not sure what its like up North though. Hope you find something.

Got made redundant 2 years ago. Took me 4 months to get another job so you have my sympathies.

It's not all bad btw I got made redundant.... filled mi pockets with as much stuff as I could, walked into a new job with more money, nearer to home the very next and also got paid out a grand in redundancy gubbins! My best career move to date

Cheer up chaps - I jacked my IT job in back in 2000 and sold pretty much everything - the cars, house, posessions etc, then moved out to Oz, to learn to fly choppers for a year. Came back and even with a Cambridge postgrad and lots of IT skills etc it took me 6 months to get a job, but it was worth the year and a half's fun. The market is still pants. If you can justify the cost, why not shoot off and do something new whilst the market is still so tough.... just a thought. Life is not a dress rehearsal as an old woman once told me (who was a better dancer than I was in the club!). Say no more dude.
