How come Scotland, England and wales are split as countries for the CW games and not for the olympics etc.
Had we competed as Great Britain or the UK we would be top of the medals table by now!
Why don't we combine under the UK banner in other sports? Football for example. Giggs would solve Englands left sided problem once and for all. Not sure who we'd have from the scottish footy team though..
If the purposes of international sport is to win, then it seems as though the UK is shooting itself in the foot to let each individual part of the UK compete against each other....

And more importantly why is this dross taking up so much space in the TV schedules.
If watching people run is so exciting, how come there aren't more spectators in bus stations watching people run for their buses?

Whatever happened to "Gott save der uber-majesty" ? (Shes a german for those who dont know)

P.S. It has to be said that it has proved that if you want a decent show putting on, you don't ask them Southern Shandy Drinking Poofters in London I hope this kills any debate over who should build and run the new National Stadium, and where it should be, the FA couldn't organise a p155 up in a brewery!

UK is split like that to keep the numbers up and make it look like there's more people taking part.....suprised they don't make Canada compete as British Columbia, Quebec, etc...
