What a waste of time this evening. Ive just sat through 30 mins of rubbish on tv, so you think youre a good driver, bbc 7pm. Never seen a programme that should have bags of potential fall flat on its face so much. There was nothing at all that was of interest except for a chap in a car doing a few track laps, and thats not exactly an original idea is it.

What exactly is the format for this programme, its a mish mash of cliches and is totally rudderless.

The scariest part of the programme was that Maureen let loose on a public highway. I am shocked and amazed that such a disaster waiting to happen managed to pass the test in the first place let alone be allowed to continue to hold onto her licence.

Sweet jesus i was watching big bro little bro mostly but on seeing Moreen giving driving tips to the previously pi$$ poor lass while crunching gears thou never out of 2nd made me worried as 2 how 2 learners were alone in car only 2 find Moreen had managed 2 pass head 4 da hills!!!!!!!!!!! lol scary

The first series of this program was (almost) informative and educational. It tried to point out bad driving attributes in a way that the average (thick!) person would understand.

The current trash is an obscene waste of licence payers money [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

Half of the show is "michelin man" in a monochrome background to introduce...

- Four chefs driving 4*4s or co-driving a rally car whose driver knows exactly where to go.

- Some dumb blonde who thinks that devil impressions will make you drive better (and don't even MENTION Maureen [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img] ).

- Some chappy and his wife who are driven by the same rally driver as above :rolleyes in a Jag:

- any other crap to fill up 30 minutes (or rather 20 minutes after the ten minutes of BBC adverts)

The BBC - you have no choice!!!

They've gone down the American canned laughter route and obviously overdubbed a skid sound when the Mondeo came on to the roundabout that Mo was crossing on a red light. The car wasn't skidding. They cut the 20 point turn numerous times for dramatic effect Presumably a stunt double did the bits where the mini stopped only a few inches from the wall.

Perhaps they dubbed the grinding of gears and Maureen is really a good driver Waste of time.
