There's been a spider living on my monitor at work for the past 3 weeks now. It's growing fat on something!!!

Yes you should be worried. You are obviously living a very sheltered life if the only thing you have to get spooked about is a spiders eating habits. Go out and get uncovered for a while, things should settle by themselves
