If the total w*****s on the ruby wax show and the recent jackass programme on telly are anything to go by.........think I'll give it a big body swerve.

You are thinking of the Gunball rally
The Cannonball is a totally different event, go on the web site & have a look. The organisers want a well run fun event which can gain a good reputation for future years. There will be plenty of opertunities for fast challenging driving including a track day on a current F1 circuit BUT anybody caught behaving like an a**hole will be thrown off the event.
The winner will be the person who averages closest to a predetermined speed & the organisers have already driven the course a couple of times to ensure it can be achieved legally
I know a couple of people who have done the Gunball & if it was anything like that i would not entertain going

Apologies to you both..my stupid mistake. May be well interested as I was planning a European drive anyway. Will check out the site.
