Scanners
#2
girlfriends mums got one that i gave her.she loves it. she now knows just about every crime that occurs before it hits the news in her local area.99% of calls are for "youths causing annoyance"also 9am is a good time for scanner action due to people waking up to find their car has been nicked or house ransacked.we now know where the nutters live as the same people are always getting nicked etc.

Yup I got one..
Had it a while now, don't use it much nowdays but it used to pick up aeroplanes, emergency services, mobile phones (before digital days) Certainly good fun listening in on the police chases.

as you well know car thiefs have got them too.
this is the downside to an otherwise very handy tool.
i listen to them all the time. and its funny listening to them going around in circles.
most of the time they cant even find the addresses .
