Radar detectors - wots the legal situation ? If you have one and get stopped, can you have it on display without fear ?
Wots the best value for money detector ? Dont wanna spend more than 150 really. How much do yer have to spend to get a decent one ? Have seen the Roadie EU 550 fer 99.99 - is it worth it ?

Radar dtectors are LEGAL in the UK. The ones that work are the Bell 550, The Snooper S and the Valentine. The valentine costs shedloads, and is the king of the castle. The Bell is very good (I used to have one).
The way to look at the expenditure curve is like this: balance the cost of a detector against the cost of the loss fo your licence, a year's taxis, etc, the inconvenience, the loss of your job (probably). Makes the case for buying one easier.
You definitely get what you pay for.

maybe want to checkout the company that are doing the deal o the laser blinders, I'm sure they'll do a deal for people from Scoobynet, www.radar-detectors-uk.com
