Default My Brother's band, yay or nay?

This is my brothers band, GHOST OF THE MACHINE, Sheffield based, he's the lead singer with the bob and tiny shirt. I tell him they should write more chilled stuff like Pink Floyd but what do you guys think?

My brother says their main 2 influences are Marillion and I can't remember if he said YES or Porcupine Tree for the other. I know my brother isn't keen on YES that much, neither am I tbh.

Awful music, I like most stuff but not this 👎🤦‍♂️...I’m sure there’s a market for it though.

mate the market has so many genres, I love LOTS of bands but I don’t like AC/DC, Rolling stones, I don’t even like the who...but I LOVE STEELY DAN, creedance Clearwater, Lynard skynard...all Down to personal preference..I listened to the above above band and skipped through...definitely not my cup of tea

I don't listen to many bands religiously tbh. I only really like Pink Floyd, Camel, Genesis, Radiohead & Archive. Symphonic/crossover prog I suppose. King Crimson's first 2 albums were ok and the the latter Beatles output was pretty interesting.
AC/DC and Zep are bit harsh for my tastes.
