Football doesn’t need real attendee fans any more as far as I can make out
i Can see why it’s popular sport cos all you need is a football

I find it quite funny that football has decided to join the EU and all the gammons are up in arms about it! That's not the Brexit we voted for

Pitch hire, payment of match officials, payment to enroll in a league, payment and upkeep of grounds maintenance equipment, line marking fluid, goals, nets, flags etc, training equipment, hire of training facilities in the darker months and so on.
To put it into some context, I do a lot of work for my old clubs treasurers daughter and son in law. He helped with a job I was doing there a few months ago and said it is a bit embarrassing that the clubs bank balance was over 30k as they were not spending the cash due to games not happening through COVID.

It looks very much like what happened in F1 a few years ago, net result being the teams got more say in how things were run/done. It's going to be a bumpy ride and a great game of poker to watch from the side lines.

It does make me laugh when the younger generation think football never existed before the Premium League, same as 500GP before is was rebranded Moto GP and Formula 1 before it was F1, like been said all about money these days.

Like a lot of sports monetised in every way possible. Remember when sky encrypted their sports channel back in 1990?
In the end of the day, if the fans boycotted it all they'd all fail. But someone always gives in and forks out. Numpties.

I'm pretty sure there were similar complaints when they created the Premiere League.
Quite frankly breaking away from the corrupt FIFA/UEFA/FA/EPL can surely only be a good thing! No wonder they are complaining so much, they stand too lose a fortune.
As long as the gate/season ticket prices are kept the same, the fans will keep coming! The only real hit for fans is extra cost of travelling to away games in other countries.
It'll also make the existing leagues more interesting as it wont be the same handful of clubs winning all the time.
