Where are Track Days and A roads in the South

Does anyone know of any forthcoming track/airfield days in Sussex? Ideally in south Sussex, however I am willing to travel a bit. All the ones that I know about are miles away, up north. I've looked in Track Days & National Events but there are not any close to me. Also I don't own a Scooby 
which means that and I am not a member of SIDC.
Also, does any one know of any good A roads close to Brighton? The only one I know is Ditchling Beacon which is bloody scaring, even in the dry.
