How do you change the password?

I keep going into my profile and trying to change it there. but everytime i do it sends me an email with a new password that it has randomly selected. I used to be able to have a password that i selected. how do you do it?

Everytime i do that i get an email sent to me saying that my profile has been updated and it gives me a new password.

Hi Hos,

I had exactly the same problem. Little Miss swears she can change hers and not get a new one e-mailed. I tried it on two or three usernames and each time along comes an e-mail with a different random p/word on it.

I've got it down as a bug now.

I can verify that everytime I change my password on any of my usernames I do not get a new one. I have custom passwords on the majority of them.

Have you changed the email address it goes to at all?

it did the same to me !!!

i suggest upgrading to a differant bbs such as
vBulletin Version 2.2.4 it lets you add files/atachments, and is easier to add piccies for the less computer-literate of our users

Thanks for the info. Haven't changed E-mail address but have changed some info on the profile recently. Just must be a bug.
