For those that would rather look up than down;
Handy if you want to know what just flew over your head; https://www.flightradar24.com/
You do get the odd interesting aircraft fly over.
Doesn't track feejits in clapped out Cessnas flying too low into urban areas with a insufficient glide path though.
And this is good for spotting that shining object in the sky;

Bit useless in the UK towns/cities, but in rural areas and countries with less light pollution you can see quite a lot. ISS is probably the easiest one to spot, but you have to be quick as it does move fast.
I could do with one that tracks trains; Last week at night I swear I head a Deltic idling from my house (I live quarter of a mile from the track).

There were two stored at Washwood Heath, now moved by road.
Here's one for shipping:

Maybe, didn't know there were any stored so locally always thought they were oop Norf However it appears they aren't running
The local line is the Worcestershire line which links up with the SVR which does have the odd diesel day.
I'm trying to convince myself what I heard was something else..but can't think of any high-revving / 2 stroke locos.
That'll be handy next time I'm booked on the ferry, to make sure it's actually going to be there
