Car upholstery washer
Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced machine which would be suitable for deep cleaning car seats/carpet etc.
Having just bought my daughter her first car, I'd like to get the interior thoroughly cleaned.
I suppose it could just go to the polish car wash and get them to do it.

Get the interior steam cleaned. The steam kills the bacteria/mould in the fabric. Just using a cold cleaning product will mask any smell but it will come back again. Either take the car or remove the seats and take those. From my experience, mobile companies are no good as the crucial element is the drying. The last time I had a car done, it was about £60 and I left it with them for a day (9-5).
I don't see the value in buy a machine unless you plan to use it regularly.

There are no smell's as such, I just know the carpet/seats etc would come up really good with an upholstery machine.
I tend to agree about buying a machine, but there would be another car that would also benefit from an interior shampoo.
I'll enquire at the polish car wash.

You can hire a Karcher Puzi for about £25 a day from HSS in Bangor, just ensure it has the upholstery attachment available. Would normally attack any second hand car with this, surprising how much it will lift out of upholstery and carpets which don't look dirty. Cleaning the head cloth is a bit tricky, but doable.
