Photobucket! Bleeming scammers

Photobucket! Bleeming scammers
The idiots have started to charge now to share pics on 3rd party sites!
So now all my pics that I shared via photobucket on here are now censored
I stopped using it a while ago now since I can just upload from iPad but all the pics prior to that are gone.
Now I wouldn't mind having them to look at on my progress and to check what I've done and not done, but with no pics I'm lost!
I can still access pics but it took a lot of time to have them organised in stages.
Only option is to pay or **** it?

From photobucket blog
"....4. Are my pictures still safe?
Yes! All your photos are still available by logging into your Photobucket
Account. Photobucket has only restricted the ability to view your photos on
3rd party sites.
5. Can I download my Photos?
Absolutely, at any time. It is an easy four step process:
Step 1. Login to your Photobucket Account
Step 2. Navigate to your library page
Step 3. View a photo and click the download button
Step 4. The picture will be saved to your computer....."

Thanks for link, I must of missed it.
That's going to be a lot of work copying all old pics and replacing them back in the order, how do I do that when I can't even see what pics went with each post.
Ffs!
I hope they go out of business as no one is going to pay $399 a year supscription just to keep forum pics up!

I would pay for 1 months subscription just so I can re-sort all pics out then f them off, but it's a annual payment only.
It will take me a week in my spare time to sort it now and figure what pics went where.
They've done it on purpose, if they didn't they would of asked for a more appropriate fee.

Your thread on type-ra.com has all the pics in order Corky. I set the forum up to mirror the pics from Photobucket a few years ago

Can I save them pictures direct from there and put them back on here for instance?
I'm thinking of making my own blog on FB tbh as it's easily accessible and won't disappear

You'll see the image URL as:

This way you can see the images are mirrored from Photobucket.

It's a bit harsh calling them scammers...
Each picture shown anywhere will cost an amount of money to display (bandwidth etc), and if they're displayed on a 3rd party web site, photobucket get none of the potential ad revenue, just the costs.
surprised it's lasted this long tbh

Hosting costs & sharing costs more without the revenue.
I think they've dropped the ball on the 3rd party sharing, but glad I mirrored when I did

Found this temporary fix for chrome users on the TT forum, might help you load them onto something else.
