in case you live on mars........NTL suck.
just moved house, they pop round to set up my TV, modem and phone (transfered from my old house)- should be easy as the new house already had all 3 services- but NO! cant do the phone line, no room in the exchange! and no idea when they can so i have to get BT on to it. and can i be bothered to sit for 9hrs on hold to discuss this with them? errr....no.

ps- for legal reasons i would like to point out that if NTL want to sue me for slander they can kiss my 4rse.

Funny that Tiggs, NTL said the same to me about the phone line. They sent me a letter 2 months later telling me they had capacity.
The engineers(??) who installed the cable modem originally said there were loads of free space in the cabinet. Enough for about 40 phone lines. Hmmmm
