Anyone on here into this? Son in law started at the beginning of January and has made over £800 so far I'm tempted to have a go myself

I did it for a bit last year, starting up is quite easy. Especially if using a main website that lists all of the offers to go through. I found though, that once they had all been used up, you need to invest alot of time into it (especially once you get into the acca side of it). Also you end up with alot of money being tied up in the cashing out process as it usually takes a couple of days.
If you are thinking about doing it seriously, then i would recommend setting up a separate bank account so there is no risk of throwing money you need into it.

Yep, tried it for about 20 days and in that time did most of the basic sign up offers and made about £300. I see people on the forums can make £1k a month if you put the effort in. I stopped because it drained all of my spare time and it was mind-numbing boring. I had high hopes and gave it a shot and there is the potential to do well with the help of the guides and threads, but for me after working all day, the last thing I felt like doing was to commit 2 hours every day to it. It would be great if you were a student or worked part time though.

I've made about £1400 so far, but this is over several years. Did all the mainstream bookies and I do the sign-ups offered by new bookies as they come up. You also get the odd offer from those you have accounts with.
When I began I tried to get the odds as close as possible to get the best return but this can take ages if you're doing it yourself. Now I just look for a reasonable match in order to make a few quid. I don't think it's worth trawling the bookies for an hour or so waiting for odds to change just for an extra 50p.
The basics are easy to learn and there are numerous guides on the web and spreadsheets that will calculate how much to back/lay for the odds. Make sure you understand the technique fully before jumping in and double check everything!

I've done a little with a fair amount of success. It does take up your time though and the profitable bets are quite often 'in play' so you have to place bets when the games are on. There are also casino offers too which can make money if you play the odds.

Not into betting. Don't find trying my luck with betting and lottery etc. constructive. More of a masculine interest, I understand, but many women are also sucked into it. Highly addictive and can become pathological.
There was a programme on TV on how betting companies rip people off, exploit their addiction and they eventually ban the people from betting that either keep winning by luck, or if they 'know' how to win.
Not criticising the interest, just be careful, that's all.

Update, I am still at this and I have made thousands now, it has paid for holidays abroad, Scooby tax and insurance ect. The offers are not as plentiful as they were but I can still easily make hundreds each month.

I signed up once. Bet365 and they matched my deposit.
somehow won £800 and thought result cash out.
Called bet365 as I couldn't cash out and it turned out I had to play that £800 x amount of times over and win before they would allow me to cash out. - because they matched my deposit.
in their t&c's apparently
Never again.

With respect, just because 365 matched your deposit amount does not mean you were matched betting. When I signed up to 365 I deposited £100 which they matched, I then did 5 x £20 free bets and layed them off at Smarkets (one of the 4 exchanges in the UK), this gave a profit of just over £80 and I still had my initial £100 still in the account which I then withdrew, result being clear profit of over £80, easy!!!

Sounds to me like you signed up to their Casino offer, quite often there are wagering requirements to be met on many Casino sign ups.
