Pretty relaxed here until 29th; from now on. I need to access office tomorrow, though. I have an opened and nearly full carton of milk in the work fridge that I need to bring back home. I'm not Scrooge, but I don't like wasting. Some work from home will goes on during this free period, but I don't mind that.

yes, echo that - all the emergency services too
and in fact everyone who is working - I imagine the retail/warehouse sector don't get much of a break
seems a shame to me

Yup!
21st - 28th, 1800 - 0700. Nothing like a good 13 hour shift
Also away from home so not like I spend the daytime hours at home. Still, last Xmas as a squaddie so can't complain

On call NYE and NYD.
8am nye to 8am the 2nd...
Not gonna complain £350 for having the phone on.
A day off in leiu if called out NYD or the 2nd.
4HRS for the first call out of each day at triple time and triple time for every hour worked after that.
Van is due a service and brake pads so I anticipate spending half a day sat in a layby waiting for the AA man to come recover it.....

Not sure, the terror threat is quiet high at the moment which may account to a re-deployment of roles for the Christmas period and i think a lot of community meetings are put on hold this time of year.
Still double time for Christmas and boxing day - but it usually means minimum staffing to save money.
