Phil Collins
Anyone else see the Jonathan Ross show last night?
Phil Collins really didn't look well Still a good live performance I thought but he looked very unsteady on his feet.
Such a shame

He sounded just as good as ever you
He looked rough . Don't quite know reason for back op?
Not sure he should be allowed to unleash himself yet more stuff - does he need pay tax man ?
Was the broken ankle alcohol related

He was struggling to hit notes, and looked uncomfortable. I hope it was just because he hasn't used his voice for a while. He used to be a fun guy, but it's like he's lost his haha and his mojo.
Incredible drummer in the 70s and 80s, before it all went a bit commercial and narrow. Floating round the kit, doing doubles all over the place.

He has a broken bone in his foot apparently and has undergone surgery on his back. Dont know the timeline in terms of whether it is recent and he in recovering, or if it is a chronic thing, but he seemed to be using the mic stand at times to support himself.
When not looking at the screen it sounded like Phil Collins of old, but wasn't good to watch. Will be buying his book, he is an artist I have always liked, as a talented drummer, writer and vocalist, he is a witty guy and has always came across as being without ego or arroagance dispte his huge and enduring success.

I missed JR show last night. I like the show. If it's on internet, could anyone pls. provide a link to it? Really busy with stuff here, so that will be a great help.
I did watch GN show on Fri night in Altrincham. Tom Cruise looked good with his feather cut hair, despite looking older with some puffiness under his eyes.

Sacrilege!! Strike him down!
Genesis, pre-1980, we're prog rock Gods. An amazing album group.
Admittedly, they 'sold out' for a more broad appeal (read mainstream popularity) after then, with their more 'poppy' Invisible Touch and Genesis albums.
Duke (amazing) and Abacab being my favorite albums. And Then There Were Three and Three Sides Live too.

I was a close neighbour of his in Sussex when he left his wife, Gill, suddenly - allegedly sending her a fax goodbye. His little daughter Lil was at school with my kids where I was a governor. Other members of Genesis were close by.
Thought he looked awful in the clip above and doubt he will last a full tour. Best hang up his mike before he falls over methinks. David

Another no no from me.I think it was having east end kids sing on brick in the wall that forever tainted them for me.
